The 24th playing of this event, it was once again wonderfully organised and run by Mick's great friend and County Golfing partner Jimmy Feeney and raised over £3000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

There were some excellent scores on the day with 'Hogan's Heroes' form Kedleston G.C. winning with a fine stableford total of 88 points. Best gross went to 'Lambert's Lot' Simon Griffiths, Richard Piggott, Duncan Sowter and John Lambert with a gross 135.

Jimmy thanked all those who had helped to make the day run so smoothly before Club Captain Ian McDarmaid presented the prizes. There then followed a special presentation of Honorary LIfe Membership by Past President Paul Cook to Jimmy for his unstinting service to golf and fundraising for the  Anthony Nolan Trust, which resulted in a heartfelt standing ovation from all present.
