Pierre-Alain Weir and the Social Committee, would like to say a huge thank you to all members and members contacts who donated very generous items and also placed many bids on those items at the Auction of Promises evening we held on Saturday 9th September.
We raised over £3k on the night, far exceeding our expectations!
This money will be used to modernise the clubhouse internally & externally and to fund future social events, notably The Oktoberfest on Friday 20th October at the club.
- As this is a members club we now seek your help in deciding what exactly we spend the money on, so please can you contact Pierre-Alain Weir with any suggestions before 30th September.
Although numbers of members attending the event were disappointing, the night was ultimately successful because the members who participated in person placed very kind bids, so many thanks once again!
