Ashbourne Golf Club hosts various "Open" competitions, including charity events, throughout the year for Men, Ladies, Senior Men and Mixed players. See the "Open Competition Entry Forms link", above left, to download currently available entry forms and information posters for future events. Upcoming events are also shown in the diary link below.
Please note that certain "Open" competitions can be booked online, for these please see the Open competition online booking link on the Home page of the Website. For the majority of the Seniors Mens Open competitions and the Charity Open events the above mentioned entry form link should be used.
A summary of the previous years Open competition results is contained below.
The 2018 Senior Mens Open competition took place on the 15th August 2018 with again a maximum number of 200 player taking part for the third year running. The event was again sponsored by Lexus Derby who provided a "Lexus watch" as the prize for the nearest the pin competition on the 14th hole and many thanks go to them for their continued support. Ashbourne G.C. members proved successful with Les Birkett and Andy Rogers winning the main competition with 45 points and John Hammond winning the nearest the pin competition, John will be presented with the Lexus watch worth circa £300 at the Lexus Derby dealership on Pride Park Derby. The prizes were presented to those winners present following completion of a long day, by the Club Captain Alan Mudie. Many thanks go to all involved in the organisation of the event throughout the year and on the day including the greens staff who again presented the course in excellent condition.
