2022 Seniors' Captain Mark Courtney introduced the Seniors' 2023 Captain Trevor McCabe at the Seniors' Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 14 December. An excellent meal was enjoyed by all and thanks go to to Peter Radford and all the catering and bar staff for looking after everyone on the day.
Unfortunately the Jim Smith Walking Stick competition, which should have been played beforehand, had to be postponed owing to the frozen course and will now be played on 11 January.
The men's prize presentation took place on Saturday 19 November after a well supported team AM.AM. which had had to be played over 15 holes after the recent very wet weather saturated the course.
After another impressive and successful season, Simon Griffiths was presented with three of the Major Trophies. He is pictured receiving the Scratch Cup and The Order of Merit, from Captain Barrie Ritchie. President Gill Lockwood also presented him with the The President's Putter.
George Ditchfield was the winner the Champions' Trophy.
Seventeen Past Captains participated in a very enjoyable day followed by an excellent three course dinner.

The club entered the North Division of the Derbyshire Scratch League this season. It was pleasing to see a mixture of younger and more established players representing the club in what has turned out to be an enjoyable first league season.

On 5 August, forty eight members of the club travelled to Enville Golf Club near Stourbridge with Captain Barrie for an enjoyable day's golf .
